A Teacher Encounter Event was held on the 21st April with the Lower Thames Crossing, Skanska, and Murphy Group.
Engineers working on the Lower Thames Crossing came together to showcase the project to Geography teachers and lecturers in the Built Environment sector, bringing the scheme to life through real-world examples.
Core principles of sustainability, ecology, and biodiversity were highlighted, demonstrating how they influence and shape this major infrastructure project.
Feedback from the educators showed that they will be able to use these real-life examples to improve curriculum relevance and enhance the learning experience for students.
