Local Skills Improvement Plans Benchmarking

Aligning Training with Demand
CTECs benchmark construction skills provision against LSIP priorities
CTECs continually benchmark their activity against Local Skills Improvement Plans (LSIPs) to ensure provision reflects live employer demand and regional workforce priorities. Using evidence from LSIPs, construction labour market intelligence and Skills England analysis, CTECs identify where provision meets demand and where gaps remain – across areas such as retrofit, digital construction, MMC, specialist trades, and progression routes. This ensures that training investment, curricula, CPD development and employer engagement remain responsive and strategically aligned.
Over time, this section will feature regional LSIP alignment updates, new skills priorities, benchmarking dashboards, gap‑analysis highlights, and examples of how CTECs have adapted provision in response to employer‑identified needs.
